Cover Reveal: Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I'm very excited to reveal the cover for Onyx, book 2 in the Lux series. The first, Obsidian is being released December 6, 2011.

Starting over sucks.

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring…. until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

And then he opened his mouth.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something…unexpected happens.

The hot alien living next door marks me.

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon’s touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.

If I don’t kill him first, that is.

The print version will include Chapter 1 from Daemon's POV and the digital version will include two more scenes from Daemon's POV.

I just finished Obsidian the other day and really enjoyed it. I tried to pace myself, but just like with Jennifer's other books, Daimon and Half-Blood from the Covenant series, I couldn't wait to find out what would happen on the next page.

First a sneak peek at the official blurb...

No one is who they seem. And not everyone will survive the lies…

Now for the cover of Onyx...

If you're looking forward to Onyx and want to help spread the world, feel free to grab the widget I made. The release date is May 2012, so I have it set for May 1st until I know the exact date. I'll update it when I do, which will automatically update it on your blog.
